I am so glad that today is over. So many things have gone wrong. For some reasons I didn’t sleep a wink last night. I was very tired when Mum called me this morning. I fell asleep again until Mum called me again. That snooze made me late.
I did not have time for breakfast. I was starving as I ran to catch the school bus. I just missed it. Dad had to ride me to school. He was late for teaching at his school and he was furious with me. He scolded me for being late.
I arrived at school on time. The teacher asked us to hand in our homework. My homework was not in my bag.  I had forgotten to put it in my bag the night before. I usually check my bag in the morning. I did not do this because I was late I had to do extra assignment as a punishment.
After Biology lesson, I did not tie my shoelace properly. I tripped over it. And fell down the stairs. I hurt my knee and had to have a bandage on it.
What a terrible day! I hope that I have much better one tomorrow.

I really enjoyed my holiday in Australia. Last Sunday I visited a marine park called Sea World which is at surfers’ Paradise near Brisbane. It’s Australia’s largest marine park and I had a wonderful day there.
The first thing I saw was the Oceanorium where you can watch all sorts of sea fish and animal under water. There were huge turtles, sharks, and a beautiful tropical sea fish. The most exciting thing was watching a man feeding the sharks. He wore a special diving suit. Then I watched the performance of sea animals. The saw was in a big outdoor swimming pool. There were killer whales, dolphins and sea lions, and they did all sort of fantastic things in the water. One of the girls in the show rode around the pool on the back of killing whale, and another girl rode underwater on the back of a big turtle. After the saw I had lunch. There were several big restaurant at the park and I had lunch in a restaurant that was shape like a ship! Then I watched a wonderful water-ski show which was held on a lake.
There were lots of other things to do at the park. There was lake cruising, a train ride, a big water slide, swimming pools, and an incredible roller coaster called the ‘corkscrew’- because it goes three loops upside down. But I wish I had gone on the roller coaster ride before lunch rather than after it!

Dear Susan,
How are you? I'm writing to tell you about my holiday. It's total disaster!
The plane was five hours late and we got to my cousin's house at four o'clock on Sunday morning. Then we booked a hotel to stay. The next day I went to the beach for a swim. However, it's miles from the hotel and it's crowded.The sea was freezing and it's polluted - there's a chemical factory next to the beach.

The Proclamation of Indonesian Independence

The proclamation of Indonesian independence was read at 10.00 a.m. on Friday, 17 August 1945. The declaration marked the start of the diplomatic and armed resistance of the Indonesian National Revolution, fighting against the forces of the Netherlands and pro-Dutch civilians, until the latter officially acknowledged Indonesia's independence in 1949. In 2005, the Netherlands declared that they had decided to accept de facto 17 August 1945 as Indonesia's independence date. In a 2013 interview the Indonesian historian Sukotjo, amongst others, asked the Dutch government to formally acknowledge the date of independence as 17 August 1945. The United Nations, who mediated in the conflict, formally acknowledge the date of independence as 27 December 1949.

Bandung Lautan Api

The BLA monument was erected to commemorate a historical event that took place in the city on the evening of March 24, 1946 (60 years ago today) when the inhabitants of the city deliberately burned down the city and evacuated it in a heroic act to prevent the city from being recaptured and used by the British and Allied Forces who were helping the Ductch to reclaim its former colony after the Japanese surrender.

Every April 21 people in indonesia commemorate the kartini day. It is beautiful day for the woman because we celebrate the birth of great lady R.A. Kartini. Everyone knows who Kartini is. She is our national heroine and a great lady with the bright idea.
Kartini was born in 1879 April 21 in mayong jepara. Her father was Rama Sosroningrat a Wedana (assistant of head of regency) in mayong. Her mother, Ma Ngasirah was a girl from Teluk Awur village in Jepara as the daughter of a noble family, she felt luck because she got more than the ordinary people got. She got better education than other children. In november 12 1903 she married adipati djoyodiningrat, the head of rembang regency. According to javanese tradition Kartini had to follow her husband. Then she moved to Rembang.
 
In September 13 1904 she gave a birth to her son. His name was Singgih. But after giving birth to a son, her condition was getting worse and she finally passed away on september 17, 1904 .
Now Kartini has gone. but her spirit and dream will always be in our heart. Nowadays Indonesian women progress is influenced by kartini's spirit stated on collection of letter "habis gelap terbitlah terang" or  from the dusk to the dawn.
